Material range decides how much of an order book a machine can serve. The MP80D runs PE, PP, PVC and PA through the same 80 mm, 24 L/D screw, so a plant is not locked out of a PP shampoo bottle order or a PVC industrial container simply because the machine was bought for HDPE. Each material needs its own barrel profile rather than a compromise setting. Four screw heating zones and three die head zones give the operator enough control to run a PP melt at its own temperature
